The lot features a nice fully beaded men's belt on hide and trade cloth, attributed to the Blackfoot Native Americans of the circa 1890-1900's. The late 19th to early 20th Century piece shows a nice 2 1/2 inch wide by 32 1/2 inch long belt comprised of Indian takked old Buffalo hide and trade cloth with buckskin ties and artful geometric tipi pattern beadwork, all done in early glass trade seed beads. The beadwork includes colors of chalk white, red, light blue, and semi-translucent dark red or maroon. The beadwork is finely done and has little to no bead loss. Provenance: From the ex-collection of Dale Harrison from Cincinnati, Ohio.
