The lot shows an original photograph by Missoula, Montana ABC Studio Joseph B. Furshong. The piece shows over ten Blackfoot (Blackfeet) Native American Indian's in full ceremonial dress performing a dance. The photograph dates to circa 1920-1930's and is marked by stamping in the bottom right corner "ABC STUDIO / JOS. B. FURSHONG". The piece shows the Blackfoot Indians wearing full bald eagle headdress with beaded leggings and war shirts. Overall the piece has been well preserved and shows wonderful detail. This photo measures 7 1/4" wide by 5" tall.
