Featured in this lot is this acrylic on canvas of a buffalo spirit transformation by artist Iron Hand. The artwork features a beautiful sunset scene with a Native man mounted on a horse holding a ceremonial headdress above his head and seeing a reflection of a buffalo in the water in front of his, this is a shadow style of artwork with everything but the sky and the reflection blacked out. The artist signature can be seen just left of center at the bottom of the artwork. The International Artist known as Ironhand was born William Roy Swick on June 30, 1948 in Pendelton, Oregon. He is a third generation artist. Ironhand spent twenty-four years in the United States Army Special Forces Airborne (The Green Berets). His artwork embodies the spirit of his race and the love of what he does. Ironhand works in many media, hot glass, clay, graphite, oils, watercolors, bronze, wood, stone, the computer, and many others. The condition of this painting is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this painting are 16" x 20".
