This is a unique piece, a sweat lodge or fly whisk covered in beadwork with the end being Buffalo tail hair. The piece exhibits a carved wood handle covered in Buffalo tail rawhide which is further covered in clothe and then has a banded glass trade seed bead design. The end shows red wool fringes with dark black Buffalo tail hair whisk. The beads are a greasy white, red white heart, cobalt and medium blue. Overall length 26"L with the handled being 9.5"L and about 1" diameter at the end.
