Featured in this lot is a Star single shot vest pocket derringer chambered in .22 caliber. The Star vest pocket pistol was manufactured by Iver Johnson during 1870-1890. The derringer features a nickel'd barrel and chamber, and walnut grips. The barrel is marked across the top reading "STAR VEST POCKET". The frame and barrel shows most of the original nickel finish with some pitting and wear. The walnut grips show wear with sections missing. The piece shows fair condition overall with working mechanics and pitting across the exterior of the piece. Serial Number: 815. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
