For your consideration is an Original Cindy Jo Popejoy Sculpture, "Arizona Gold Dust". Her Cherokee heritage has driven Popejoy to understand and represent the character, strength, and honor of Native American people. Cindy Joy grew up close to the Shoshone-Bannock Fort Hall Indian Reservation in eastern Idaho. Her artwork, celebrated as the "Rolls Royce" of Native American style, features dramatic Spirit Statues and Spirit Masks Wall Art, each handcrafted with natural materials and her unique techniques. This sculpture features two figures, female and male, with life-like facial expressions, dressed in cream colored full length "gold" decorated blankets, both depicted wearing "gold" and "turquoise" necklaces. The female figure wears a "gold" concho belt on her multi colored long skirt and blue blouse, a "gold" and "turquoise" barrette with feathers and beads. The male figure wears a Native inspired matching cream colored open crown hat with a "turquoise" and "gold" hat band and feathers. The sculpture is mounted on a stained wood base, a gold coloured information plaque says, "ARIZONA GOLD DUST From The Heart Of Idaho By Cindy Jo". A wonderfully artistic and expressive piece of Great Basin Indian culture, the sculpture is in very nice condition, no marring observed. 10"W x 16"L x 21.5"H, weight is 9 lbs 10oz.*
