Featured in this lot we have a Colt Frontier Scout Buntline '62 single action revolver chambered in .22 long rifle with the original box. The piece was manufactured in 1963 by Colt. The revolver displays a 9 1/2" long round barrel, six shot cylinder, resin grips, hand ejector, and single action hammer. The resin grips show a striking white coloration and design similar to abalone or mother of pearl. The barrel is marked reading on the left side reading "FRONTIER SCOUT BUNTLINE '62 .22L.R." with the top of the barrel reading "COLT PTFA MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.". Mechanically the revolver shows good timing and a crisp trigger. The revolver shows good condition overall with some light wear due to handling and use with the cylinder retention pin screw missing. The pistol comes with its original box and paper "the Colt Companion" booklet. The revolver and box weighs 2lbs 10oz. Serial Number: 11555P. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
