This is an excellent hand woven flat weave rug by master weaver Alfredo Martinez using 100% soft fine Angora Wool in a beautiful Zapotec Diamond pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave using 100% Angora wool and handspun churro wool yarn blend with color fast aniline dyes. Tight handwoven weave displayed with bold colors in the fine Zapotec Diamond pattern in the time-honored Zapotec multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Alfredo Martinez. This bold and beautiful rug shows a fantastic Navajo Crystal Pattern styling with replicating bold red diamonds with black stepped edge having large dientes triangular outside pattern in heathered grey, black and red with a black border. The piece is in brand new condition with fine tight weave. The rug measures 2’ 5” by 5’ (2 foot 5 inches by five foot). Angora and Churro wool are immensely soft and sought after.
