Featured in this lot we have a Romanian Cugir Arsenal UMC2 bolt action rifle chambered in .22 cal. The UMC2 was designed as a bolt action training rifle for military soldiers before moving up to higher caliber service rifles. The rifle was in production during the 1960's and 1970's. The rifle displays a 23" long round barrel, green dyed wood stock, three stage iron sight, 2 removable magazines, metal trigger guard, and bolt action. The top of the barrel is marked reading "UMC2 1971 T-3935" with proof and import stamps. The piece mechanically shows good condition with a crisp trigger and good action. The rifle weighs 5lbs 4oz. Serial Number: T3935. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
