Featured in this lot we have a Currier and Ives color print of Saint Joseph originating from the late 19th century. The print shows Saint Joseph holding the form of baby Jesus with a a number of angelic figures in the clouds surrounding the two. The piece is marked across the bottom of the print, reading "Published by Currier & Ives - 125 Nassau ST New York - Saint Joseph. - Ste Joseph. - Sn Jose". The piece also shows a art gallery tag in the back reading "Currier & Ives - ST. Joseph - 00.07.18". The frame is is primarily made of wood with brass interior border and shows carved vine and floral patterns with each corner showing a floral patterned piece. The print is in good condition overall with some wear on the frame and the bottom left floral piece is missing a middle piece. The frame measures 15" wide by 19" tall.
