For your consideration is this Den Haan Rotterdam brass maritime lantern from the 1940s to 1950s. Den Haan Rotterdam (DHR) brass lamps have been manufactured in The Netherlands since 1922. While originally focused on marine navigation lighting, the company expanded into producing decorative brass, copper, and stainless steel nautical lamps for consumer and maritime use, particularly growing in production from the 1960s onwards. This brass lantern shows a "Cristal Boheem Glass" flute and brass construction. The lamp is opened from the side and features a full out section where the oil can be refilled. The top is covered with air outlets and a carrying handle. The back of the interior features a reflector. The piece shows good condition overall with little wear present and no signs of damage noted. It measures 5 5/8" L x 7 3/4" W x 13 7/8" H and weighs 5 pounds and 12 ounces.
