For your consideration is this wonderful 1950's Double Bubble Pepsi-Cola advertising clock. These clocks were known as "double bubble" clocks as there were two internal light sockets to illuminate the two layers of painted and frosted round convex glass on the clock. The first layer of glass is painted yellow with green and blue lettering and the 1950's Pepsi bottle cap logo. The logo on the clock says, "Be Sociable Have a Pepsi". The outer layer of convex glass is clear in the center with numbers in black on white frosted glass. These clocks were once a ubiquitous part of 1950's highway and service station decor. The double bubble clocks were made by Advertising Products, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH. The clock is in excellent condition; both lights light up and the second hand sweeps. Although the knob to set the time is missing, the time can be set easily with pliers to move the stem. The clock measures about 16" in diameter.
