Offered in this lot is a collection of four (4) early 1900's Carnival Canes with porcelain heads. County fairs and the carnivals were an important part of early 1900's American life. One of the favorite prizes to win was the carnival cane. The brightly painted dowels were topped with a porcelain figurine head. The early carnival canes toppers were German made. These four (4) canes have porcelain heads. Two (2) heads are of dogs, two (2) are of dice. Cane wood dowels are painted to "match" the porcelain heads.
These carnival canes measure between 33.25" - 35"L and are in good structure condition with light cosmetic wear from age and use.
