Included in this lot we have an early 20th century Navajo Native American rainbow Yei and Yei Bichei artwork on packing paper. The piece features a rainbow Yei Bichei arching over a group of 16 Yei's. The Yeis are all standing around in lines of four around the center with corn and other plants set between the groups. The center of the piece shows a depiction of the sun in yellow, red, white, and blue. The piece is marked in the bottom left with the letters "S E Cod" and "H E Gor" on the bottom right. The piece was made using acrylic pencils on a heavy brown paper and shows a range of color from bright yellow and green to more subdued blues and blacks. The image is set in a nice dark oak frame with a brown border around the piece. It is in good condition overall showing little to no damage to it or the frame. The frame measures 31 1/4" wide by 29 3/4" tall.
