Offered in this lot we have a collection of early Native American trade knives originating from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This collection consists of six trade knives: one Crescent trade knife with the other five unmarked. The knives show steel blades with one piece oak and other hard wood grips. The Crescent knife shows a straight back pattern blade. The lower rivet is marked "Crescent Reg’d". Three of the unmarked knives are constructed with copper rivets that have a nice green patina that has faded into the hard wood grips. The knives show good condition overall with some wear due to age and use. The largest knife measures 15" long with a 9 ½” long blade and the smallest knife measures 7 1/8" long with a 3 3/8" long blade.
