For your bidding pleasure is this Assorted Canidae Teeth Necklace. The biological family Canidae (from Latin, canis, “dog”) is a lineage of carnivorans that includes dogs, wolves, coyotes, foxes, and raccoons. In Native American lore and mythology all these animals are of both great and small significance; for example the coyote was considered to be represents the prairie wolf that is small and cowardly. The coyote symbolized selfishness, deceit, and greed however is a main character in many stories of old as a powerful magician bringing the world to some order even if that wasn't his intentions. This necklace is in good condition showing seventy- eight teeth from animals belonging to the Canidae family. The necklace shows an braided core ending in tassels that fasten together to tie necklace to ones neck. The measurements of this necklace are 10" x 8 1/2".
