The piece shows a wonderful depiction of Amos Two Bulls who was a performer for Buffalo Bill's Wild West show in the late 1800's. From the Artist: "Amos worked for the Wild West (show) in 1900. The Wild West Audiences were universally fascinated by Native Americans. Cody's shows were much more than mere spectacle. They offered the general public a unique, personal experience of Native American history, culture, and lifestyle. Through entertaining, the Wild West (show) laid the foundation for the entire "Western" genre of books and movies in the twentieth century". Echo Ukrainetz is a native Montanan artist who creates fine art batiks.
