Featured in this lot is this El Paso, Texas sterling silver Deputy U.S. Marshal badge circa 1880's and was displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The badge features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver and hand engraved construction that shows a five pointed star with tooling or caving decoration to the face and reads as follows: Deputy US Marshall. The badge comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Sterling, Hand Engraved Early 1880's Came from El Paso, Texas. The condition of this Deputy U.S. Marshal badge is well preserved with some slight patina adorning the bade consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this badge is 2 3/8" x 2 1/2" x 1/4". The collective weight of this badge is 22.3g. LO200
