Offered in this lot is a very nice Elk Ivory tooth capped with silver necklace. The "Ivory" teeth in elk have long been valued by Native Americans, as part of a special animal, and by hunters, to honor and remember a successful harvest. This highly polished Ivory tooth has no signs of wear. The Ivory is mounted in a silver cap with stamped arcs. The ivory and cap measure 1" X 4/8". The ivory pendant is on a 15" sterling flat "S" chain. This necklace is wonderful in its classic, simple, traditional style and in very good condition.
