For your consideration is an antique Finlen Hotel cast iron laundry stove. This beautiful kerosene laundry stove was taken out of the Finlen Hotel in Butte Montana in the 1960's. The stove comes with two irons. The piece remains in good condition with cast iron clawed feet. The kerosene tank is marked "Quick Meal Stove Co. a Division of American Stove Co. St. Louis U.S.A." The burners appear to be operational but untested. The hand pump to prime the tank and pipes to the burners is constructed out of brass and has a wooden handle. The piece measures 15 1/2" x 19" x 18". The story goes that this laundry stove and irons were used to iron the Copper King Augustus Heinze's shirts when he stayed at the Hotel.
