The lot features a wonderful fully beaded medium to large flat bag from the Flathead Native American Indians of Montana. The piece shows an old Museum Collection tag stating that it is a Flathead Hand Bag circa 1940-1950. with ID number B-104. The piece shows an Indian tanned hide construction with early plaid calico trade clothe lining with all glass trade seed glass tube beading in sky blue, iridescent, red, blue, and green covering the entire surface of the bag.
