The cabin is mounted on a wooden mount with a Native couple outside the front door of the cabin on the grass. The front of the panorama is marked as follows: At Home - Pine Ridge - S.D. The community was named for the pine trees on the ridge surrounding the town site. An early variant name was Pine Ridge Agency. Pine Ridge is a census-designated place (CDP) and the most populous community in Oglala Lakota County, South Dakota, United States. The condition of this Folk Art cabin is good with very little wear to the cabin with some chips to the paint but otherwise shows good overall condition.
