Featured in this lot is this mid 20th century Inuit or First Nations beaver beaded boots. The boots are wonderfully and professionally crafted beaver fur, hide, and beaded construction. The boots feature wonderfully arranged construction of beaver, and rabbit fur throughout the necks of the boots with a beaded arrangement of floral construction with trade seed beads that include light green, dark green, chalk white, medium red, dark blue, and greasy yellow. The framework of of the boots is constructed from hide and shows soft soles. The condition of this pair of Inuit First Nations boots is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of these boots is 14 1/2" x 12" x 4 1/2". The collective weight of these boots is 2lb 4oz.
