Featured in this lot we have a Gerome Weinand Custom Damascus Hunting Skinner Knife. The knife shows a custom Damascus steel blade with Bison Bone Handle and black leather sheath. This is a early made knife by well known custom Montana knife maker Gerome Weinand. Made early in his career it is marked Lolo, Montana prior to his moving to Missoula. The knife shows a wonderfully patterned Damascus steel steel blade with a vine file pattern across the back of the blade and around the handle. The handle is made of American bison bone grips with steel pins. The blade is marked "Weinand Lolo, MT.". The knife shows good condition overall with some minor wear.
