Included in this lot is an antique Golden & Jacobson turtle cuspidor in all original working condition complete with spittoon. This spectacular spittoon works when the head is stepped on, the shell flips up to reveal the spittoon. The top of the shell is marked “Golden & Jacobson PAT NOV 10- 91 Other Pat’s Pending …”. The turtles base is constructed of stout cast iron and as such shows a rusted appearance. The spittoon measures 14” x 10 ½”.
