For your consideration are four, Winold Reiss Great Northern Railway calendar toppers from original Empire Builder calendars from the 1940s-50s. These were cut from the tops of the original Empire Builder calendars and show various different Native Americans. The first is from 1950 and shows "Angry Bull - Blackfeet Indian Hunter" and shows him wearing a headdress and holding a dance rattle. The second is from 1947 and shows "Lazy Boy - Blackfeet Medicine Man" sitting on the ground holding a medicine bag. The third topper is undated and shows "Chief Mike Little Dog" as he sits on a large trade blanket and wears a large headdress. The fourth and final topper is from 1940 and shows "Calling First" wearing a tanned hide shirt with geometric designs on the left and right side and playing a drum. These toppers show good to fair condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. They measure from 20 3/4" L x 16" W to 17 1/4" L x 16" W and have a collective weight of under 6 ounces.
