Offered for sale is a Harrington & Richardson “Target” Model .22 rim fire pistol. The pistol features a 6" solid rib barrel, walnut, checkered wood grips, external hammer, break action, ejector, and deep blue finish. In 1932, an H&R pistol was used to set a new U.S. pistol record and went on to become the most famous firearm of its kind. This pistol was so accurate that it was adopted by the U.S. Army Pistol Team. The pistol shows good condition, with little wear to finish. The mechanics are in good function, being tight and smooth. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The left of the barrel is stamped “H&R Target” Model” and the top of the barrel reads “Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. Worcester, Massachusetts U.S.A.” Serial Number: 484555. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
