For your consideration is a Remington Model 141 Gamemaster .35 Rem slide action rifle. This rifle was the first issue Gamemaster introduced in 1936 and made until 1950 becoming the most successful slide action big game rifle ever made and this example is in the popular .35 Remington. It features a blue finish, buckhorn rear sight, ramp front sight, metal plate, grooved walnut fore grip with straight grain pistol grip walnut stock and metal butt plate. The left of the barrel is stamped “Remington Arms Co., Inc. Ilion, N.Y. Made in U.S.A. Patents-1.044.568-1.071.173-1.072.982” and “.35 Rem” towards the receiver. The receiver is marked “The GAMEMASTER Reg. U.S. Pat. OFF. Model 141”. The firearm is in good overall condition. Serial Number: 49674.
