For your consideration in this lot we have a J. Stevens Arms Company Favorite Trade Mark Model 1915 falling block block single shot rifle chambered in .22 long rifle (.22LR). The rifle shows a factory blue finish with 24 inch round barrel with an adjustable altitude rear sight. The barrel is marked, "J. Stevens Arms Company / Chicopee Falls, MASS. U.S.A. - 22-LONG RIFLE". The top of the half octagon receiver shows the correct marks along with the Model 1915 marking on the rifle tang with a number of dents and scrapes on the receiver. The rifle features a falling block action that is operated by a lever that doubles as a trigger guard. This model shows a take down screw in front of the lever action. The piece shows original walnut stock and grip. The rifle is in good condition overall with some wear and light pitting. Mechanically the trigger functions properly with the action in working order but with a little play in the action.
