For your consideration is a Jay Tschudy Limited Edition Signed Native American Warbonnet Metal Art Sculpture, #56/250, artist's signature on reverse side. The mixed media sculpture features a Native American war bonnet hanging above a banded "Chinle" style fringed blanket, a native pipe also laying on the blanket. Enamel paint colours of light blue, navy blue, black, white, and red decorates the metal art which is mounted on a sandstone rectangular slab. Arizona artist Jay L. Tschudy is a descendant of the Blackfeet Native Americans. He is a self taught artist and over the years he has sculpted in mediums such as stone, woods and clay, but being born with only his left hand he finds it more of a challenge creating his art with copper, brass and steel. His artworks are currently represented throughout the country and various places around the world in private collections and on display some of the finest galleries nationwide. A striking piece, this metal art sculpture captures the essence of Native American culture. Sandstone slab has felt pads underneath. Measures 6"W x 10.25"L x 8.75"H, weight 3lb, 10oz.
