Featured in this lot are three Montana travel books outlining travels to the West & National Parks, Lima, Montana and Fort Benton, Montana circa 1963 to 2018. The first book is a first edition titled, "Welcome to Lima, Montana" by Damaris Cherry Hoadley and Richard Otto Gosman, copy-righted in 2018. The book is a compilation of living seventy-five years in Lima, Montana, many years of research and interviews and the cooperation of the people of Southern Beaverhead County. The book is filled with interviews, stories, lists of names and numerous black & white photo illustrations. The book shows good condition overall with no wear present and measures 11 1/4" L x 8 3/4" W x 3/4" D. The second book in this collection is titled, "The Playground Trail - The National Park-to-Park Highway: To and Through the National Parks of the West in 1920" by Lee Whiteley and Jane Whiteley circa 2009. This book gives detailed instructions on how to get to various National Parks in the West including maps, diagrams, illustrations, advertisements and black & white photos throughout. The book shows good condition overall with little to no wear present. It measures 8 1/2" L x 11" W x 1/2" D. The third and final book is a first edition titled, "Diary & Sketchbook of a Journey to America in 1866 & Return Trip up the Missouri River to Fort Benton, Montana" by Granville Stuart and introduction by Carl Schaefer Dentzel, copy-righted in 1963 by Dawson's Book Shop. The book gives a detailed look into the West, frontier life, history and art with numerous black & white sketched illustrations. The book shows god condition overall with little to no wear present. The book measures 8 5/8" L x 11 1/4" W x 1/2" D. Some books exhibit pencil markings throughout.
