The lot features a fully top beaded flat strike-a-lite bag from the Lakota Sioux Native American Indians. The bag shows an Indian tanned hide construction with calico trade clothe inner lining and all glass trade seed beads across the front being trade thread sewn. The bag shows a braided Indian tanned hide top strap with fringe along with a beaded top flap which shows hide fringe with long rolled tin jingle cones with a nice coloring. The base of the bag shows hide fringe with rolled tin jingle cones, also having a nice coloring. The top also shows a brass metal button round, a nice addition. The beadwork shows a chalk white background with geometric pattern in Cheyenne pink, red and greasy dark green. The bag is in good condition with little to no bead loss. Provenance: From a collection out of Big Sky, Montana from a Yellowstone Club estate. The measurements of this pouch from braided hide strap to bells 10 1/2" x 2 1/2".
