The lot features a fully top beaded flat strike-a-lite bag from the Lakota Sioux Native American Indians. The bag shows an Indian tanned hide construction with calico trade clothe inner lining and all glass trade seed beads across the front being trade thread sewn. The bag shows a braided Indian tanned hide top strap with fringe along with a beaded top flap. The base of the bag shows hide fringe with rolled tin jingle cones, having a nice coloring. The top also shows a brass metal button round, a nice addition. The beadwork shows a chalk white background with geometric pattern in greasy medium red, cobalt, sky padre blue and greasy dark green. The bag is in good condition with little to no bead loss. Provenance: From a collection out of Big Sky, Montana from a Yellowstone Club estate. The measurements of this pouch from the braided twine to bells on the bag are 12 1/2" x 4".
