Daniel Boone is characterized by his accomplishments to further western expansion in early U.S history shining bright and bringing Kentucky to the forefront of the shining constellation that became the Union. Heartfelt by youth for courageous stories facing down wild animals and wilder men, Col. Daniel Boone faced Indian siege, the slaughter of men beside him, and the daring rescue of his daughter captured by Indians and rescued by himself and stalwart men around him. The reddish brown coloured cloth bound gold gilt stamped hardcover is in fair to good overall condition, decorative boards with stamped floral designs and gold gilt label of the high Victorian style. Gold gilt title on spine, scuffing and soiling observed on cover, intact pages exhibit age tanning, staining, and foxing. No other obvious marring observed. Measures 5"W x 7.5"L x 1"D, weight is 1lb.
