The full title of the book reads, "Life of David Crockett, the original Humorist and Impressible Backwoodsman." The book gives an account of his early history, bear hunting and adventures, services in the Creek War, his electioneering speeches and career in Congress, his triumphal tour through the northern states, and his services in the Texan War, as well as his death at the Alamo. This book includes several illustrations and has a brown cover with black lettering and illustration. This book is in good condition, showing wear to the binding and spine. The book measures 7.5" x 5.75".
