This is a scarce first edition of “Life of Barnum; The World Renowned Showman” written by P.T. Barnum and published circa 1891. Phineas Tayler Barnum was an American showman, politician, businessman, and founder of the Barnum and Bailey Circus in 1871. This book serves as a comprehensive autobiography. The cover features a wonderful gilt decorated and illustrated cover. The inside of the book contains numerous illustrations including those of P.T. Barnum and his wife. The book is in good condition. It measures 5.75” x 7.75”.
