Featured in this lot is this Lincoln County, Territory of New Mexico: Jason Joseph Dolan merchandise circa 1887; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The merchandise ledger features an itemized list of of goods and services provided in 1887. James Joseph Dolan (May 2, 1848 – February 6, 1898) was a Union Army veteran, Grand Army of the Republic member, Republican Party political boss, racketeer, Old West businessman and gunman, cattle baron, and a key figure in the Lincoln County War, in New Mexico, which launched Billy the Kid to fame. The condition of this Jas J. Dolan Mercantile ledger is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage that shows some browning to the ledger consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this ledger is 9 1/4" x 8 3/8". LO150
