The rugs are produced in the city of Mashad, which is located in northeastern Iran. The rug displays geometric floral patterns across the border with a single large geometric medallion at the center of the rug. The piece shows geometric designs mirrored in each corner. The rug displays colors of bright red, blue, yellow, green, orange, brown, and white. The rug has short tassels at each end (the sides are tassel free).
