Featured in this lot is a limited edition, fine pewter sculpture done by sculptor Michael Boyett titled "Sioux War Cry" made in 1980. This sculpture depicts a Native American warrior of the Sioux tribe on horseback, raising his war club in the air while holding his shield in his other hand. The shield is adorned with feathers and he wears a beaded necklace. On the front of the sculpture it features the title of the piece "Sioux War Cry". On the back it is stamped "358/2,500" showing that it is a limited edition piece. The back also features the sculptor's signature and copy right reading "Michael Boyett ©1980". On the bottom it shows the title, the sculptors signature, the copyright date "1980" and the presenter "Chilmark Fine Pewter". Overall this piece is in good condition with no signs of damage. It measures 4 1/2" L x 3 1/2" W x 8" H.
