Offered in this lot is a collection of six military theme books. The first book is an amazing mint condition still in plastic wrap with dust cover copy of An Illustrated History of The First World War by John Keegan. The book measures 11" X 9" X 1". The next book is LIFE World War 2 Edited by Richard Stolley. An as-new copy, in an as-new dust jacket, of the first edition. The coarse cream cloth binding is clean and unworn, with immaculate gilt lettering and blocking to the spine and front board. Everything is square and tight, with sharp unbumped edges and corners. Inside there are no ownership inscriptions or other markings of any kind. The dust jacket is unclipped (no flap price), and is fully intact and unworn. The book measures 11" X 9 1/2" X 1 1/4". The next book is The Smithsonian Book of Flight By Walter J. Boyne. This book is in like new condition with a clear plastic cover protecting it. This book is filled with photos. The pages are in pristine condition as is the cream ribbon bookmark. The book Measures 11" X 9 1/2" X 1" The Stars and Stripes: The American Flag as Art and as History from the Birth of the Republic to the Present By Boleslaw and Marie-Louise D'Otrange Mastai This book has 255 plates in full color, reproducing more than 400 specially made photographs. the book measures 11 3/4" X 10 1/2" and has very slight foxing on the dust jacket, but the pages are all in excellent condition. Flight Forgotten,,,and Remembered by Lt. Col. Boardman C. Reed is this next book. This signed first edition is in mint condition. this book is a paper back. On the back of this book is an address sticker from Lt. Col Boardman C Reed. The last book in this lot is The Wild Blue: The Men and Boys Who Flew The B-24s Over Germany by Stephen E. Ambrose. The book measures 9 1/2" X 61/2" X 1" and has its dust jacket in excellent condition. All these books are in like new condition.
