For your consideration is this Mimbres Ladie, rare, parrots pottery vessel, circa 1000-1130 CE. This is a wonderful example of Mimbres culture history with wonderful geometric decoration and shows a quadruple parrot design centered inside of the bowl. Early Mimbres black-on-white pottery, called Mimbres Style, is primarily characterized by bold geometric designs, although some early examples feature human and animal figures. The condition of this Mimbres pottery vessel is fair for its age; the top of the right-hand side of the vessel is missing. The measurements of this Mimbres pottery vessel are 3" x 7" x 4 3/4".
