Featured in this lot are three, early miners candlesticks found in mines in and near Tombstone, Arizona from the late 1880-90s. These were used in various mines around Tombstone and helped miners guide their way through the dark and deep mines. The first and smallest one shows an early design and shows oxidation present throughout. The second is in better condition and shows a hook and candle holder spot. This one is also unmarked. The third and largest shows no markings but features the hook and candle holder spot. They show fair to good condition overall with wear and oxidation present on two of the candlestick holders but no major signs of damage noted. They measure from 8" L x 1 5/8" W x 2 3/4" H to 11 1/8" L x 2 3/8" W x 3" H. They have a collective weight of 10 ounces. Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona.
