For your consideration is this Montana Highway 287 road sign installed in 1974. U.S. Route 287 is a north-south United States Numbered Highway in the state of Montana. It extends approximately 281.2 miles from Yellowstone National Park north to U.S. Route 89 in Choteau, 100 miles south of the Canadian border. US 287 in Montana begins at the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park concurrent with US 20 and US 191, at the edge of the town of West Yellowstone. The sign shows a white background with a black border and black lettering reading, "287". The back shows a worn off sticker stating that the sign was installed in 1974. The sign shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and outdoor life on the road. It measures 24" L x 30" W and weighs 5 pounds and 14 ounces.
