Featured in this lot is this unheated GIA sapphire VS2 diamond platinum ring with GIA and AIGL paperwork. The ring features a split band polished, stamped, and tested platinum construction that is marked as follows: Alex Kauffman - PT950. The center stone of the ring is a natural oval modified brilliant cut crown step cut pavilion sapphire with measurements of 8.60 x 7.10 x 5.56mm with blue coloration and a total weight of 3.50ct. The split ring band is decorated with a total of 264 round brilliant cut diamonds with measurements of 1 - 1.7mm and a clarity of VS2 - SI1 and a coloration of F - G with a total diamond weight of 2.41cts. The piece comes complete with AIGL Inc.(American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc. a GIA certified lab AIGL#: K12E388-EA20892) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $42,135.00. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Sapphire Grading Report#: 6237387492. The collective weight of this ring is 14.1g and the ring size is US 7". RN037371.
