For your consideration is a Mortimer Side by Side percussion 12 gauge shotgun. This muzzle loading shotgun utilizes two 32" long blue'd barrels. The barrels feature a silver inlaid upland scene with dog chasing a pheasant. The brass front sight also features a silver inlaid arrow. The receiver features an engraved upland scene on both scenes and is marked "Mortimer." The nipples are in good condition and the straight grain walnut stock features a cavity that houses two replacements. The stock is in good condition with minor dents and dings associated with age and use. The trigger guard also features a detailed floral engraving and shows a rich patina. Overall the gun appears to be in good aesthetic condition with a rich warm patina. The ramrod is missing. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
