Offered in this lot is a Belgian Victor Collette Drilling Combination Gun chambered in 16 Gauge and 50 C.F. This drilling combination gun features a 27 1/2" long barrels with the left rifled and chambered in 50 C.F. and the right chambered in 16 gauge. The underside of the barrels are marked with an array of proof marks. The case hardened receiver is in good condition and colors are noticeable underneath the barrel while the visible area shows a lovely gray patina. The receiver is marked on the left "Victor Collete" and on the right "Leige." The straight grain walnut fore grip features a lever action to detach from the barrel. The stock is in great condition and features a checkered pistol grip. Serial Number: 58246. The proof codes shows that the Controller was Daenen Charles. Proof codes present on the barrels are the Perron, used to indicate inspection of the breeching system. EL proof of smooth bore barrels. Crown over R for the rifled barrel. 16 over C for the black powder proof. Lastly is the crown over ELG conforming to German Proof Law. This firearm dates to after 1924. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
