For your consideration is this Navajo embroidered doll pair, circa early 1900's. There are two dolls in this collection; the first one shows a cloth embroidered construction with a painted face, velvet blouse, and a two layered skirt. It shows a stamped and pressed in molding to the jewelry with sky blue and dark blue trade seed beads. The second Navajo doll shows a doll wrapped in red stroud cloth and covered in blue with trade seed beads, including chalk white, dark green, dark blue, and light brown. The condition of these Navajo dolls is good, with no obvious signs of damage; the dolls show fading to the cloth construction, however, they are in good overall condition. The measurements of these dolls are 15 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 3" and 17 1/2" x 4" x 3".
