Featured in this lot is this Navajo Ganado Hubbell Cross rug circa 1900-1920's. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction that shows ends with bands of off white, light brown, and grey coloration with the dark brown wrapping around as a border with a off white band inside that. The field is light grey with some lazy lines throughout the fields and shows six total Hubbell Crosses with red and light brown coloration and medallions surrounding the Hubble crosses with layers of red, dark brown, off white, and light brown. The condition of this Navajo rug is preserved with one blemish resulting in a smaller hole and other small blemishes throughout the weave but otherwise shows preserved condition. The measurements of this rug is 44" x 69". The thread count is app. 138 threads per square inch.
