Featured in this lot is this Wide Ruins rug circa 1975 from Navajo weaver Mary Ann Roan. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction with a wooden panel for wall hanging. The rug shows bands of geometric and striped patterns that shows coloration of brown, grey, off white, and very light pink and the field is a gold coloration. The rug comes complete with a provenance from its the original tag from the Kiva trading post out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The condition of this Navajo rug is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this rug is 32 1/2" x 16". The thread count of this rug is 198 threads per square inch.
