For your bidding pleasure are these Navajo Old Pawn Set Of Four Turquoise & Onyx Rings. The term Old Pawn refers to the jewelry pieces that the old navajo whould trade for credit at trading outposts. Native American Navajo had different needs than their white couterparts out in the wilds bof the Old West, and traders would credit currency and trading goods for these pieces of jewlry. These rings show good craftmanship with large oblong onyx stones set in two of the rings both rings show a twisted rope border with one of them having added grouping of three and four berry silver balls. The next ring shows a bright full colored sleeping beauty turquoise oblong stone centered in silver crimped placement. This turquoise ring is the only ring stamed with Ortiz Sterling silver mark. The last ring shows a dark green Carico Lake oblong stone centered in a twisted rope silver placement with an interesting raindrop design surrounding the placement.
